British Library Pre-Wedding Shoot

A couple of weeks ago I headed up to London on the train through a landscape blanketed in snow, to meet Nicholas and Jody for their British Library pre-wedding shoot.

We met in the beautiful surroundings of the St Pancras Grand Brasserie for brunch (which is also where they will be holding their wedding reception) and talked happily through their wedding plans before taking a walk along to the British Library Piazza for photos. The weather was bitterly cold with a dusting of snow still on the ground but the sun was out and the light was perfect. Jody told me that this was where Nicholas had proposed which made the shoot all the more special.

The relaxed way that this lovely couple interacted with one another whilst I snapped away made my job incredibly easy! Before parting ways we popped into the library to warm up a little and take some more photos. The space is light and bright and airy with some great angles and curves and I have to say that I was just a tiny bit in my element in there!

UPDATE: See their full wedding on my blog here.
