Nigel and Sarah’s Brighton Music Hall wedding on a beautiful spring day in early March kicked off at the always magnificent Grand Hotel. Sarah and her sister were busy hand tying the bouquets when I arrived and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed as finishing touches were made to makeup, and outfits adjusted ahead of the ceremony just down the road at at Brighton Register Office. Leaving the ladies to their final preparations I headed off to meet Nigel and the boys for a swift one in the Mesmerist before joining the rest of the guests soaking up the warm sunshine outside the Register Office.
The ceremony that followed included personal readings from Nigel and Sarah that were both touching and sincere and highlighted just how much love there clearly is between them. Rings were exchanged and the register signed whilst the best man – left momentarily in charge of the couple’s little daughter – grappled with the challenge of keeping her headband firmly on her head!
Back out in the glorious sunshine guests made their way down to the beach and along to Brighton Music Hall while the newlyweds followed on behind, stopping off in the Brighton Lanes on the way for photos. After drinks and nibbles on the bustling beach front we headed upstairs for speeches and dinner. The room looked lovely decorated with colourful balloons and paper streamers with wildflowers in beer bottles and glass jars on all the tables as well as lots of sweet little handcrafted touches and a cake table to really make the mouth water!
Dusk fell quickly soon after and once the sun had set, celebrations moved into the teepees. I left Nigel and Sarah and all of their family and friends embracing the dancefloor! Grabbing the last shot before heading home I could hear the party in full swing from the top of the promenade and as always it was just brilliant to be a part of such a special day 🙂
