Matt & Tash had a modern vintage wedding at Farbridge on one of those balmy, height of summer Saturdays, that don’t come along that often and I can’t think of a venue more suited to just such an occasion. Farbridge is the perfect place for a Sussex barn wedding.
I have to say that Tash looked absolutely gorgeous and totally worked that modern vintage glamour – and just look at Matt! Anyone who can get their quiff higher than mine most definitely gets the thumbs up 😉 I’m happy to report that he looked not in the least bit anything like Tash’ childhood description of her ideal man!
I get to see my fair share of proud Dads at weddings (and Mums too!) and this was no exception. Walking Tash down the aisle, he later said during his speech, was one of the proudest moments of his life and that came across in spades in the photos.
There really was such a lovely relaxed friends and family vibe at this wedding, with everyone enjoying lawn games, good chatter, and some very tasty nibbles in the summer sunshine. I loved that Matt’s parents managed to get themselves settled in the shade with a nice hot cup of tea right after the ceremony!
Just take a moment to look at all the pretty table details. Hours of trawling round antique shops and flea markets was involved to pull together this absolutely delightful look. I was like a kid in a sweet shop with so many beautiful centerpieces to take pictures of 🙂
Right before dusk we had a walk down to the cornfields in the last light of the day, when the sun is low and soft and the sky takes on a lilac hue. So romantic, and a few moments of calm for Matt and Tash to enjoy before Rosie the Caravan photobooth opened her door and cocktail hour and the evening party got underway.
It’s always a pleasure to leave a wedding in full swing, knowing that this had been a truly great day for such a lovely young couple, and I wish them nothing but the best as they approach their first anniversary in a few months time 🙂
