Alan & Maxine’s relaxed Court Gardens Farm wedding was everything a countryside, barn wedding should be (as well as being one of my favourite places to shoot!). The day began with getting ready photos in the picturesque little village of Ditchling and Maxine absolutely nailed the look with boho braiding and wildflowers in her hair.
The ceremony was held at the recently opened Brighton Town Hall Chambers and Maxine and her lovely Dad arrived in style in an open top Morris Minor. Afterwards, the wedding party – dodging a few summer showers en route! – made for the reception at Court Gardens Farm.
Having popped up the day before, I’d seen the preparations underway in the barn, and all the hard work had certainly paid off because it looked so, so pretty. A truly lovely space for friends and family to come together over the glorious lunches prepared by Jacqui, the farm’s resident caterer 🙂
Before the evening party kicked into gear, Alan & Maxine had a wander down to the vineyard for photos of just the two of them together and then Maxine and her bridesmaids popped round the back of the barn for some fab shots of all the girls together. Loved the navy dresses!
Betty Booths Camper Van Photobooth was already open for business and doing a roaring trade when we made our way back up to the courtyard and not long after that, the band had the dance floor filled for the rest of the evening!
A nicer couple you couldn’t wish to meet, Alan & Maxine have just celebrated their one year anniversary and I wish them both much happiness for all the years to come 🙂
